1.     The minutes of the meeting held on 12 March 2008 were proposed by DS and seconded by DC.

2.     Abbeyfield

DT outlined the concerns on the lack of progress to date with the NHS.   The main concern is that there is no formal contract in place between Abbeyfield and the NHS.   This obviously makes it very difficult for Abbeyfield to progress with borrowing funds and carrying out building alterations.   ACTION ? ASLCC to write to Gary Coutts, Chief Executive of the NHS Highland urging the NHS to progress the contract between themselves and Abbeyfield as a matter of urgency.   Letter to be copied to Fergus Ewing MSP, local Highland Councillors, Gill McVicar and Larry Wilmot.

DS asked if any progress had been made with regard to the possibility of a non-executive seat for a member of the ASLCC on the Abbeyfield Board.   DT was not aware of this but would raise the issue at the next Abbeyfield Board Meeting.

3.     Scottish Water (SW)

a)     The Schedule of Work has been received for the Glencoe & Ballachulish Waste Water Transfer Scheme.

b)     Sewerage Works ? SW have reported that they have not received any communication form Highland Council about why the recent planning application was refused and they are still to decide whether or not to appeal the decision.

c)      Glencoe Water Quality ? concerns were raised
