Enquire - Additional Support For Learning
Enquire is the Scottish advice and information service for additional support for learning. We provide information to families of children who need - or may need - extra help with their learning.

Enquire is funded by the Scottish Government and managed by Children in Scotland.

All our advice is independent and we actively promote families and school staff working together to make sure children get the help they need.

How can the Community Council Help?

We know form experience that parents and carers who might benefit form our advice and information are not always aware that we exist. The Education Act 2004 came into force in 2005, and the Government has indicated that further work is needed to inform parents about the concept of additional support for learning and to make the aware of their rights under the Act.  Community Councils are in a unique position to help us raise public awareness of our services.

Are you looking for information about your child's rights to support in school? If so contact Enquire, the national advice and information service for additional support for learning.
