Duror Primary School held its annual inter-school football, barbecue and fun day on Friday May 22. Appin and Ballachulish fought it out in the final with a tremendous performance from both teams taking it to a penalty shoot out, with Ballachulish finally taking the honours.
Parent council member Margaret MacDonald said: 'Well done to all the teams who participated and gave us a fantastic match. Thanks also go to all the teachers and parents who helped make it a successful night.' Mrs MacDonald also thanked everyone who organised the various rides and pets' corner, businesses and organisations for their sponsorship and local people for donating raffle prizes and home baking.
